The word “etiquette” comes from France, and despite all the attempts of the British to take precedence in this matter, etiquette originally originated in France.
Nowadays, French etiquette is in some places strikingly different from English, although the latter is considered the world standard: primarily because the royal family lives in England.
However, French etiquette is also widely used worldwide: in France itself, in Southern Europe, South America, and Canada. French etiquette is more bohemian, democratic, and free, less rigid and strict than English etiquette. French etiquette is rich in subtleties, nuances, and details, knowledge of which always distinguishes an educated person from an ignorant one. Connoisseurs of French etiquette are people who can dazzle with their grace, elegance, and sophistication.
It’s crucial that you receive our course “first-hand”—it’s led by our European trainer, Larisa Evans, who has lived in France for over 10 years and frequently mingles with French high society.
